Thermomix Prescription in the NDIS


Workshop Duration: 1 hour

Cost: $75.00

This workshop focuses on the prescription of the Thermomix TM6 model, which has recently been superseded by the Thermomix TM7.

While some product features may differ between models, the clinical reasoning, assessment approach and NDIS prescription process discussed throughout this workshop remain highly relevant and applicable when prescribing any Thermomix model.

If you are considering prescription of the either the TM6 or TM7, it is strongly recommended that you facilitate a product trial with your client and assess the specific features, functional benefits and support needs relevant to their individual circumstances before completing your recommendation.

About the Presenter

Rebecca (aka Becky) Pizzilli has been an Occupational Therapist for over 18 years. She commenced her career with a rotation at Nottingham University Hospitals in the UK, covering a broad range of clinical settings including general medical, orthopaedics, neurological rehabilitation and community-based services.

Since moving to Australia in 2009, Becky widened her experience and was a Senior OT with the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service in South Australia. Becky also has experience working in residential and community aged care, however her passion is supporting individuals who have had a brain injury.

She now runs her own business Find Your potential, which has a focus on adult brain injury rehabilitation.
